Reel-to-reel – precision springs
With progressive miniaturization precision springs are exposed to constantly increasing loads.
Stamped springs can develop hairline cracks due to the mechanical tension inherent in the manufacturing process. Very complex precision springs can therefore no longer be manufactured this way – they break.

- to take advantage of the fundamental advantages of a temperate process that does not produce any type of microstructure change or mechanical strain.
- to achieve lower prices with medium and larger quantities on the one hand, and to clearly improve production economy by direct down-line processing on the other hand.

- to meet the high requirements on the absence of burrs, as well as cleanliness, and on parts that are produced with very little mechanical tension, unlike created by stamping and heat treatment.
