Etch/laser technology – heat exchangers
Heat exchangers consist in most cases of metal. For air conditioning systems copper and aluminium are utilized due to their good conductivity properties. The longevity of the material is of fundamental importance.
In the process of developing new sources of energy and increasing their efficiency heat exchangers play an important role.

Combined etch/laser technology also stands for …
- making it possible to etch channels into one or both sides of the sheet metal layers that make up the heat exchanger. The outer contours and breakouts are then aligned using modern positioning cameras, and finally cut with precision lasers.
- soldering and welding the individual sheet metal layers on the heat exchanger on location.
